The Website www.hingis.ch was redirected towards hingis.org for many Years now,
thanks again to Juri for this service.

Now Juri got an over to sell this Domain ,and since it was always just a "redirect" ,i'm fine with that.

So if anyone has bookmarked this website under www.hingis.ch ,instead of www.hingis.org, please update your bookmarks now.

anyone who used the Emails @hingis.ch ,i have to say sorry, and you will need to move your email to somewhere else. I recommend gmail.com

If you have Problems or Questions , you can follow the Link in my Signature below...

what did the .ch stand for anyway? I know chinese webpages end in .ch, but that seems illogical in this circumstance...

I don't want anything more
Than to see your face when you open the door
You'll make me beans on toast and a nice cup of tea
And we'll get a Chinese and watch TV
Tomorrow we'll take the dog for a walk
And in the afternoon then maybe we'll talk
I'll be exhausted so I'll probably sleep
And we'll get a Chinese and watch TV

ch = swiss. It's the swiss extension for something like .com / net etc.

CH stands for Confoederatico Helvetica. It's latin and means Swiss Confederation. BTW, CH is also used as the international code for Switzerland on car country code plates. smile.gif

hingis.org was actually always the official address for this website.

hingis.ch was actually even registered before hingis.org ,but didn't belong to me. The Owner however ,since he never had intentions to launch his own website, was kind enough to forward to hingis.org for many years now.

Hingis.ch would be the first "guessed" URL a swiss fanboy would try.

It's possible that i will take ownership of hingis.ch, just for nostalgic reasons, but it's not a definitive yet wink.gif

ohh i was so sad when u first wrote .ch is gone. whenever .org didnt work for me, i guess it was some problem with the domain, i would go to .ch, it had that little bar at the end there showing "u r visitor number ****" lol i loved that.

yeah i didnt know abt the .ch history that it was some other guys. i just thought it was also yours but registered before .org

i knew .org came afterwards. it was always .ch before right during the "green" site days. the beginning.

i used to login in .ch only!

glad u bought it. smile.gif
